HCNA-Transmission certification validates the basic knowledge of transport networks and the basic operation and maintenance of Huawei transport devices and network management software.

The HCNA-Transmission curriculum includes, but is not limited to the following:
Principles of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH), Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (WDM), and Ethernet
Multiplex Section Protection (MSP) and Subnetwork Connection Protection (SNCP) self-healing protection

With HCNA-Transmission certification, you demonstrate the ability to describe the basic concepts of transport networks and the common features and networking capabilities of transport products; and configure and monitor simple businesses using network management software.

With engineers who are HCNA-Transmission certified, carriers or enterprises are able to complete basic configuration of a transport network, maintain devices, and manage the transport network.
